Under the hood, the website has to be structured in a way that it looks and works similar in a variety of browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. Athouratative content should be carefully placed within the pages for Search Engine Optimization. Other files, such as a robots.txt and a site map file should be discovered by search engines spiders when the site is traversed. Tools for measuring traffic to the site such as Google Analytics should also be placed within the pages.

Your Home Page is your key to presenting to the world what you are all about in a clear concise manner. Most web surfers spend an average of less than 20 seconds before deciding whether they are interested in your products or services. If you don't "wow" them or at least spark their interest, they usually move on.

Very often, people come to your site just to get your phone number or other contact information. In our opinion, this could be the most important information on your site. When we set up your Contact Us page, we don't like to just set up an email link to the client's email software (Ex. Microsoft Outlook). Instead, we like to have the user just type in their email address, subject, and message and generate the email right from your site. This convenience allows the user to contact you without requiring their own computer.
One consideration for a Contact Us page is whether to have CAPTCHA included (see below). Hackers are creating little programs called webbots that are looking for websites that generate emails and using those wesites to generate spam. CAPTCHA forces the user to type in a sequence of letters that are displayed in graphic format in order to submit a form. The Computer Tailors can add CAPTCHA capability to your site.
